Sitting down to eat at Rifugio Capanna Passo Valles means embarking on a journey through the authentic flavours of the mountains. At over 2,000 meters, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, our cuisine tells stories of tradition, family, and the local land.

For generations, we have carefully prepared classic alpine dishes: our polenta is slowly cooked in a copper pot over a wood fire, just like in the past. The tratitional “pastim” is homemade following family recipes, and our strudel preserves all the aroma of the ancient recipe that has been with us forever.

Alongside these traditional dishes, we offer a monthly seasonal menu featuring creative and refined plates inspired by the freshest ingredients of the moment. It’s a cuisine that looks at the mountains with fresh eyes, while staying rooted in tradition.

Our wine list, with around 200 labels, gives pride of place to excellent Trentino wines, while also featuring top selections from other Italian regions and a few international gems. Each bottle is carefully chosen to complement our dishes and offer a complete food and wine experience.
